Hi Adam, my name is Carl. I am a novice short bender and have been checking your blog for awhile. I am really starting to enjoy the grip work and wanted to touch base. On 4/19 I had a hard time bending a white nail and now, half way through a Ben Edwards program I can bend a blue with ease. I have studied the Diesel Crew's e-book, but if you have any advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Carl P.S. The red nail thing was intense to watch. AWESOME!
AWESOME ADAM!!! I believe Ben Edwards pulled about 275 on his homemade 2" Vbar and managed a solid 276.8 on an actual FBBC Vbar ;) That is no weak lift!!!
Great lift Adam! Zach is right on. I pulled 300 a few times (not sure if any of them were the 2" minimum height though since they weren't on video) on my Ironmind Olympic loading pin. I believe I'm stronger now so I figure it's somewhere around 20 pounds difference between the two.
Carl, wanted to say thanks for the shout out man! I'm Ben Edwards by the way. Glad you like the bending program. You can't go wrong learning from Adam too.
